Competition rules

The final important details of the photographic competition have been approved, and we are very pleased to advise that the first prize is a trip with our group to Europe and the UK for the Grasslands Field Days over 21st and 22nd May 2008. The prize covers the cost of return air fares, bus tours and accommodation for one person. Not all meals are included. The proposed itinerary departing Auckland 18th May 2008 will take travellers to the UK for the Grasslands Field Days and then on to Vienna, Prague, Dresden, Spelle and Amsterdam and then back to Auckland on 3rd. June 2008 totalling 17 days.  

For all competition entrants the following rules and conditions apply: 

The first prize will be a trip to Grasslands Field Days 2008 as detailed above Two additional consolation prizes will be awarded.  

The photograph should reflect: A day in the life of a farmer/contractor/operator in New Zealand Photos that could be used for advertising would be preferred. 

The subject should be of   any current model of Krone, Rabe, Einbock, Fransgard, Supreme, Pronovost or Bema machine purchased from Tulloch Farm Machines or authorised dealer The competition is intended for amateur photographers only. 

Entries from professional photographers will not be accepted. 

Competition entrants must be 18 years of age or more at the time of submission of the photos. Competition entrants must have valid travel documents. 

The competition entrant, if not the rightful owner of the machine, must have the full consent of the owner at the time when the photograph was taken. 

This must also include the acceptance of all of the terms and conditions of this competition. 

Tulloch Farm Machines reserves the right to use the submissions for any of its advertising and promotions.  

Tulloch Farm Machines will retain full copy right, accepts no liability for any loss or breach as a result of any entries being used in any advertising campaign.

A decision by the appointed panel will declare the winner and no correspondence will be entered into between contestants and the judging panel to dispute the results.   

The first prize is non transferable and non redeemable The last date for entries will be 29th February 2008

DAY 1;   FRI 23 May – VIENNA AUSTRIA Upon arrival into Vienna you will be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel.Day at leisure.

DAY 2: SAT 24 MAY – VIENNA, AUSTRIA Meet your Local Guide and start your sightseeing vistas of Prater Park with its giant Ferris wheel, and the United Nations City on the banks of the Danube River.   Then drive along Ring Boulevard, pass the State Opera House, the Jewish quarter, and stop at the Hofburg famous Heldenplatz and visit awesome ST. STEPHENS’S CATHEDRAL. Afternoon is at leisure.   (BB)

DAY 3: SUN 25 MAY - VIENNA This morning enjoy an excursion to SCHÖNBRUNN PALACE Empress Maria Theresia and a UNESCO Visit the dazzling staterooms and the impressive baroque gardens. Remainder of the day at leisure.

DAY 4: MON 26 MAY - VIENNA - LINZ - CESKY KRUMLOV, CZECH REPUBLIC - PRAGUE This morning visit EINBOCK FACTORY near Linz. Then continue to Cesky Krumlov, best known for its fine architecture. You will have time to explore before heading to the Czech capital, Prague.   (BB)   

DAY 5: TUE 27 MAY - PRAGUE Morning sightseeing features 1,000-year-old HRADCANY CASTLE, the former residence of Bohemian kings; ST. VITUS CATHEDRAL; the Old Town, the Jewish ghetto; and the ASTRONOMICAL CLOCK. Afterwards you may want to mix with the locals in Wenceslaus Square. Remainder of the day is at leisure. 

DAY 6: WED 28 MAY - PRAGUE - DRESDEN, GERMANY - ERFURT This morning stop in Dresden, the former capital of Saxony. Badly damaged by Allied bombing in February 1945, the city has since been restored to its baroque splendor. You will have time to visit the WALTERSCHEID GEARBOX FACTORY before heading to Erfurt for overnight. (BB)

DAY 7: THU 29 MAY - ERFURT - RHEINE This morning enjoy Erfurt, where the fine Gothic and Renaissance buildings bring back the days of the Dominican Master Eckhart and Martin Luther. Marvel at the medieval Kramer Bridge, on which 33 dwellings are built.   Later head to Rheine. (BB)

DAY 8: FRI 30 MAY - RHIENE This morning visit RABE FACTORY After lunch travel to Spelle for a visit to theKRONE FACTORY. Return to Rheine for overnight. (BB)

DAY 9: SAT 31 MAY - RHIENE - AMSTERDAM, HOLLAND Today head to Amsterdam and enjoy a CANAL CRUISE humpback drawbridges reminiscent of the Golden   Next visit the fabulous RIJKSMUSEUM with priceless paintings by Rembrandt and other Dutch masters. Visit a major DIAMOND CENTRE to appreciate how a rough mineral is transformed into a sparkling jewel.

DAY 10: SUN 01 JUNE - AMSTERDAM Today you will be transferred to the airport to connect with your flight. (BB)
